Nancy O'Dell's career began in Myrtle Beach South Carolina as an anchor and reporter for news with WPDE-TV. Later, she was a morning reporter and anchor at WCBD TV. The work of O'Dell in Charleston on police leniency towards DUI cases led to being the State Law Enforcement Division investigating the cases. According to the Associated Press awarded Ms. O'Dell her Best Report of the year Award for the entire South Carolina media.
